First Aid at Work covers a wide range of first aid skills and knowledge for a more advanced understanding and abilities when faced in an emergency.
This 2 day course will cover the following topics and more:
Day 1
- Action in an emergency
- Primary survey & secondary assessment
- Resuscitation and AED
- The respiratory system
- Disorders of circulation
- Wounds and bleeding
- Seizures
- Minor injuries
Day 2
- Bones, joints and muscle injuries
- Head and spinal injuries
- Chest and abdominal injuries

- Specialised burn injuries

- Practical and written assessment
